"Off the sandstone shore of Link Island lies a long ridge of rock. It holds just enough soil to support a thick grassy meadow and a small grove of windswept garry oaks. The view of False Narrows is wonderful from up there. At high tide the ridge is separated by a channel of water, but occasionally, at low tide the wild sheep walk over and lay amongst the trees in the thick grass."
