Penticton Station
The original lakefront Penticton station was replaced by this new building in South Pentiction in 1941. Later expanded in size, it continued in service until closed by the railway in 1985. After the removal of the yard and tracks it was preserved as a community centre and is now surrounded by housing. Engine 5211 with its distinctive Tuscan Red panels was a regular on passenger and freight between Penticton and Vancouver.
