Pilot Mountain by Max Jacquiard

One of the least photographed peaks along the Bow Valley is Pilot Mountain, probably because this view is obscured by forest in the Johnston Canyon area of the Bow Valley Parkway. From trackside, however, the 9700 foot peak is an impressive sight as a westbound train rumbles past on a September morning. The location is approximately thirteen miles west of Banff.
